My passion is changing lives through sport. Competitive athletics offers so many opportunities and at its best can be a great unifier. Whether it’s youth, collegiate student-athletes, or former professionals I believe we can change the world for the better through participating in and engaging with others through sport.
After retiring from the NFL in 1998 I have worked primarily in intercollegiate athletics administration and focused on collegiate student-athletes. I’ve served as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia since 2014. Believing in the power of education to change lives I graduated with a BS in Business Management from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University. When I’m not working, you can find me doing a variety of activities to maintain my physical and mental fitness. Even after all my years as an athlete, I still enjoy running! |
